Kindred Hospitals of Illinois
At Kindred Hospitals, we provide aggressive, specialized care to patients who need extended hospital stays. In Illinois, we have five hospitals to serve you or loved one, with a sixth location scheduled to open in late 2010. Each location offers high quality patient care and services, as well as carries their own distinct character. All of our hospitals are accredited by The Joint Commission, licensed by the State of Illinois and certified by Medicare.

Kindred Chicago Central Hospital is a 114-bed hospital located on the city’s northwest side, just minutes from the I-90/I-94 Kennedy Expressway.
Kindred Hospital Chicago North is located on the city’s northwest side, near the north branch of the Chicago River, and features 165 licensed beds, including a secure Behavioral Health Unit. This location also houses the surgical suite for the Chicago hospitals, where minor procedures are performed.
Kindred Hospital Chicago Northlake is a 94-bed hospital located just eight miles from O’Hare International Airport and 14 miles from downtown Chicago.
Kindred Chicago Lakeshore is located in the far north side neighborhood of Edgewater, just steps from Lake Michigan, and features 103 licensed beds.
Kindred Hospital Sycamore is a 69-bed hospital located in a small residential community in North Central Illinois – approximately 60 miles west of Chicago and 30 miles south of Rockford.
Kindred Hospital Springfield
Kindred Hospital Springfield is scheduled to open in 2010 and will be located in the Illinois state capitol of Springfield, approximately 100 miles north of St. Louis and 195 miles west of Indianapolis. Serving Central and Southern Illinois, this newly constructed hospital will have 50 licensed beds.
